The Duchess of Cambridge

I love the simple yet elegant style of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. The dresses she wore during the Queen Diamond Jubilee year was very lovely to see. Kate Middleton, as she was fondly called before her marriage to Prince William, is often photograph wearing recycled clothes. To some, it’s big No-no for a royalty like her and even celebrities don’t do that. But I admired her for doing so. At least she’s still just like us. What’s wrong wearing the same clothes every so often? Anyways, here are the dresses she wore during Queen Elizabeth’s big celebration earlier this week… and take note, she even wore the shoes that we often see (must be her favorite) – there’s nothing wrong with that either.

The Fascinators

I find some Englishwomen silly wearing their fascinators but when it’s Kate Middleton wearing it, I stopped and take a look at her pictures. She could pull it off! I just love the different hats that she wore. Philip Treacy was a lucky designer picked by Kate, now Duchess of Cambridge, during her wedding to design hats for the other royalties and guests.

Fascinators are popularly worn in the UK. Princess Diana was pictured wearing different stylish hats and now, it’s the Duchess’ turn to make this head accessory a must in England 😉

Royal Fashion

I saw somebody posted this picture last week and I must admit I did laugh. But before saying anything against anyone, let’s not judge people. Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s daughters were made fun of their ridiculous fascinators but at the end of the day, who got famous? Now, everyone knew Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, all thanks to Philip Treacy’s creations. Beatrice’s hat was highly noticed because of its octopus-like design. Despite the look, she made quite a statement for she really stood out inside the Westminster Abbey. They may be compared to Cinderella’s wicked step-sisters but who is more wicked than those who harshly criticized them? Although I’ve to admit their hats were quite unusual I just hope they would pick a safer attire next time.

As for the new Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine showed elegance as she tried to combine modern and traditional wedding gown fit for a princess. Prince William, despite his premature balding hair, was a handsome prince and a total knock-out on his uniform. How about you, what’s your opinion?
